A VALUABLE way to position yourself as the expert

In a market full of opportunity why do agents think it is o.k. to devalue themselves? It’s like folding a pair of aces against a hand of unmatched low cards. What I’m getting at here is that I see so many agents out there lowering there commission rate as a way to “get” business. Well all this shows me is that they don;t really “get” it at all. And what it shows consumers is “this guy has low value and I’ll probably be able to walk all over him”. Even worse, it almost invites a barrage of complaint calls to your cell phone as their home sits on the market and they inevitably place blame on your “incompetence”. Trust me-when you lower your own standards about what you will accept as a fair fee for your services you also lower the respect you’ll get from your clients.
